The Province is committed to advancing home energy retrofits and keeping energy costs affordable for low- and middle-income households. Today, the Province announced $50 million this year and $50 million next year to expand access to heat pumps. In collaboration with BC Hydro and FortisBC, the Province plans to enhance the Energy Conservation and Assistance Program to offer heat pump installations for the lowestincome households in single-family homes. Additionally, the CleanBC Energy Savings Program will be expanded to offer heat pump rebates for low- to moderate-income households in individual suites in multi-unit residential buildings. Please see here (https://news.gov.bc.ca/32205) for more information.

Please see below for details.
